At BeezyTech, we are committed to supplying high‑quality consumer electronics and accessories as an authorised distributor for SMD Technologies. Our Refunds & Returns Policy is designed to ensure fairness, transparency, and compliance with SMD Technologies’ warranty framework, as well as the Consumer Protection Act (CPA) of South Africa.

This policy applies to all products purchased directly from BeezyTech or through our authorised resellers.

2. Warranty Coverage

All products distributed by BeezyTech carry the official SMD Technologies warranty, which typically ranges from 6 to 24 months, depending on the product category and brand.

Warranty covers:

  • Manufacturing defects
  • Hardware malfunctions not caused by user damage
  • Faulty components or workmanship

Warranty does not cover:

  • Physical damage, cracks, dents, or broken parts
  • Liquid damage
  • Misuse, negligence, or improper handling
  • Wear and tear
  • Consumables (e.g., batteries, cables) unless defective on arrival
  • Software issues caused by third‑party apps or modifications

BeezyTech reserves the right to follow SMD Technologies’ official assessment and outcomes for all warranty claims.

3. Returns Process

To ensure efficient processing, all returns must follow the steps below:

Step 1: Log a Return Request

Email our support team at support@beezytech.co.za with:

  • Proof of purchase
  • Product serial number
  • Description of the issue
  • Photos or videos (if applicable)

Step 2: Assessment

Products must undergo a technical assessment by BeezyTech or SMD Technologies. Assessment timelines typically range from 7–14 business days.

Step 3: Outcome

Based on the assessment, one of the following resolutions will apply:

  • Repair (preferred option under CPA and SMD policy)
  • Replacement (if repair is not possible)
  • Credit or refund (only if repair and replacement are not viable)

4. Refunds

Refunds are only issued under the following conditions:

  • The product is deemed irreparable by SMD Technologies
  • A suitable replacement is not available
  • The product was dead on arrival (DOA) and reported within 7 days
  • The product was incorrectly supplied by BeezyTech

Refunds are processed within 7–10 business days after approval.

Refunds will be issued using the original payment method unless otherwise agreed.

5. Returns for Incorrect or Unwanted Items

BeezyTech accepts returns for incorrect or unwanted items under these conditions:

  • Return is logged within 7 days of purchase
  • Product is sealed, unused, and in original packaging
  • All accessories, manuals, and components are included
  • Opened or used items
  • Products with missing packaging or accessories
  • Special‑order or customised items

A handling or restocking fee (up to 15%) may apply, in line with SMD Technologies’ policies.

The following items cannot be returned unless defective on arrival:

  • Software, digital licenses, and activation keys
  • Earbuds, headphones, and wearable devices (for hygiene reasons)
  • Clearance or end‑of‑line products
  • Items damaged due to user negligence
  • Customers are responsible for return shipping unless the item is DOA or incorrectly supplied.
  • BeezyTech will cover shipping for approved warranty repairs or replacements.
  • Products must be securely packaged to prevent transit damage.

BeezyTech follows the official assessment outcomes provided by SMD Technologies’ technical team. Their decision regarding warranty validity, repairability, and product condition is final.
